[RECIPE] Chicken Aglio Olio

Officially, this is the first recipe-entry posted on my blog. WHAATTT!!!? 

So yeah, I guess motherhood has successfully changed me and took me to a whole new level-me. I COOK!!! :D

Anyway, this wasn't the first meal I ever made. Occasionally, I did cook and make few types of dishes before. But due to lack of culinary skill make me feels unfit to talk and share a recipe.  

I make an exception this time because (for me) Aglio Olio is a cinch and simple to make. So I bet, you shall make it taste better than me! ;)

So, here's the recipe;

Directions:

 

A) Spaghetti 

  • 200 g spaghetti
  • Salt to taste 
Cook the spaghetti in a saucepan of salted boiling water. When the pasta is perfectly cooked, drain it - put aside and reserve some water from it.

B) Aglio Olio

  • Olive Oil
  • 4 slices chicken lyoner, thinly sliced them lengthwise into matchsticks *you may use breast chicken as well
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed and minced
  • Capsicum, cut into thin slices
  • 2 green chili, chopped  *optional - because I like it spicy
  • Chilli flakes
Heat up some olive oil, add garlic and chili. Gently fry until garlic has coloured slightly before toss the chicken lyoner. A minute before you drain the pasta into the pan, add some pasta water . Stir in chilli flakes, capsicum and season with salt. Allow the pasta to absorb the sauce and it's ready to serve! *Sprinkle with grated cheese/chopped parsley on top if you like it.

*Hidangan untuk 2 orang makan.

CARA-CARANYA:


A) Spageti

  • 200 g spageti
  • Satu sudu kecil garam

Panaskan air dalam periuk dan letakkan sedikit garam. Setelah air mendidih, masukkan pasta. Apabila pasta sudah masak sepenuhnya, toskan (simpan air rebusan) dan letakkan di tepi, sementara menyiapkan sos Aglio Olio.

B) Aglio Olio

  • Minyak zaitun
  • 4 keping ayam lyoner, dihiris nipis secara memanjang *boleh juga menggunakan isi ayam dipotong dadu
  • 2 ulas bawang putih, dihancurkan dan dihiris nipis
  • Capsicum /lada benggala, dihiris nipis secara memanjang
  • 2 cili hijau, dipotong halus/dicincang  *mengikut selera dan tahap tahan kepedasan.
  • Chilli flakes / emping cili 
Panaskan sedikit minyak zaitun dan tumis bawang putih dan cili yang telah dihiris setelah minyak sudah panas. Kemudian masukkan kepingan ayam lyoner yang telah dihiris, kacau sehingga bawang putih kekuningan. Letak sedikit air rebusan pasta sebelum memasukkan pasta. Samentara membiarkan pasta menyerap sos, masukkan kepingan cili (chilli flakes), lada benggala dan sedikit garam (secukup rasa). Kacau biar bahan tadi meliputi keseluruhan pasta sebelum dihidangkan. Taburkan keju parut atau daun pasli yang dicincang mengikut kesukaan. Aglio Olio Ayam sedia dihidangkan!
